What better way to mark the mid-point in the baseball season that to rock out with The Boss? This clip is from David Letterman's last show on NBC, and it's Springsteen's first appearance on Dave.
If I was a better blogger I'd splice in highlights from June 2005, but instead, let's imagine ourselves years from now, reminiscing about the dominant Nationals dynasty of the '10s. Zimmermann, Marrero, the other Zimmerman, Strasburg, Burgess... what an era of dominance it was (or will be?).
Or just enjoy a classic performance from The Boss.
