Also they list their "Best Tools." And if you've paid the subscription you can get the full scouting reports here, and there will be a chat with Aaron Fitt at 2:30. (As always I encourage everyone go shell out the extra ducats for the subscription. You won't be disappointed.)
Quick reactions:
--Wow, Detwiler still at #2. Good.
--Derek Norris to #6 with a rocket!
--2009 Adrian Nieto debuts at #8. Impressive. And I like having lots of catching prospects in the pipeline.
--And Destin Hood debuts at #7. With Nieto, that's two above-slot 2008 draftees in the top 10.
--Wither Smoker?
--J.P. Ramirez? Really? He's the 15th round OF we signed at the deadline with some of the "leftover" Crow money. (Not to validate the implication that we shouldn't have been able to sign both.) If memory serves he was a third above-slot signing on this list.
--This list would be a lot more impressive with the name Aaron Crow at the top.
--This list would be a lot lot more impressive with Aaron Crow and Steven Strasburg at the top.

"This list would be a lot more impressive with the name Aaron Crow at the top."
Not after the way Team Crow acquitted themselves during negotiations. For that I squarely blame Crow and his advisors.
This list would be a lot more impressive with a signed first-round prospect at the top. For their inability to recognize and pursue one I squarely blame the Nats FO.
I believe that is "Rodd" Detwiler at #2. I think that is Ross' younger brother. I think the younger brother has an ERA lower than 4.86.
How likely is it that Strasburg is the consensus best talent come draft day?
I know nothing is certain yet, but how often is someone this highly touted knocked down a few rungs?
I recently came accross your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I dont know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
