Tonight's the Night(?)

A well known reporter for an industry publication just sent me an email strongly implying that the decision has been made.

If this is true we are on our way out of the dark dark woods......I was wrong that Kasten would go but I was right that one would go.....I did not know that Smiley was 4 years older but Stan did know and that is the difference here.

You'll be able to sell the URL to the fans of the next unfortunate team who get saddled with his Stillwell from A League of Their Own looking ass.

If there is a God, and if that God doesn't completely hate the Nationals, then Jim Bowden will not be our General Manager tomorrow.

"Fire Jim Bowden" could certainly live on, as long as the Nats continue to struggle to find their way. "Jim Bowden" would become a symbol of faulty Nats decision-making. Much like "Fire Joe Morgan," which became a broader indictment of idiocy in sports announcing and writing.

hey steve, if this dream does infact come true, and the Nats decide not to kick us in the nuts by letting Bowden stay...

don't you dare change the name of this blog.

leave it just the way it is.

NO. He has to take a leave today and lose his job later so I can win my own damn pool at natlooser.blogspot.com

Sorry, cheap plug for my own blog here but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

OK, I'm off to find someone who can give me a Jon Rauch neck tat.

I don't get it. Why LaCava?
I somehow thought this is why we got Rizzo. Seems to me the D'backs have gotten better young talent and more success than the lowly Blue Jays.
I vote for Rizzo!

Are you going to change the name to Fire Whomever Hired Jim Bowden?
