"Fire Jim Bowden" could certainly live on, as long as the Nats continue to struggle to find their way. "Jim Bowden" would become a symbol of faulty Nats decision-making. Much like "Fire Joe Morgan," which became a broader indictment of idiocy in sports announcing and writing.
I don't get it. Why LaCava? I somehow thought this is why we got Rizzo. Seems to me the D'backs have gotten better young talent and more success than the lowly Blue Jays. I vote for Rizzo!
