Well, that is certainly a change from their current slew right-handed meatball tossers.
Adding him and MacDougal will mix things up. Hitters right now know that every Nats righty will throw them a 92 mph fastball with poor location. It would be nice to fool them with a guy throwing 85 or 96.
In the long run, probably a step back as those two are both way past their prime, but a good lesson in how to build a pitching staff.
