MASN WebAds Fail

I'm on Nationals.com, and if you click on any article, you see a web ad on the right hand side of the page. The first panel looks like this:

Hmm... they've drawn me in. The Nationals lose a lot, but even I can't argue that you Zimmerman delivers web gems on a regular basis. OK, I'll watch. When's the game on, I think to myself? MASN knows that's what I'm thinking, so the helpfully switches to the next game time... except... Doh!

Guess you missed the commercial that starts out showing and talking Elijah Dukes and then cuts out ...

All those maudlin commercials with Nats bloggahs like 320 ... the only commercial worth watching is the one with Ben Goessling boarding a plane going to Florida. That at least leaves out all the maudlin silliness.

Personally I think the copy writting on the 2nd ad show much more creativity, insight and gramatical excellence than 90% of the work you see from the MASN staff and ownership.
